This month, Doncaster held their annual pride event in Elmfield Park; it was fabulous to see so many people celebrating diversity. Young People at Heart had their own recruitment stand, where staff helped to promote fostering and answer any questions people may have, hoping to spread the word about our wonderful agency and recruit some additional foster carers. This was a great success! We managed to collect the names and numbers of potential new carers – hopefully one day they can become part of our lovely Young People at Heart family. We will be having other recruitment events around the country so look out on our Facebook page for any upcoming events if you would like to come and talk to our staff about fostering.
