Hello and welcome to the Young People at Heart foster carer section of our website.
This is your area to catch up on what we’ve been up to, download any training information that may be relevant to you and read any up to date legislation we may post.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for having Young People at Heart. People like you help us to provide safe, secure and loving environments in which young people can grow and flourish. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to make a difference to the lives of so many young people.
We will publish dates of foster carer training and support group meetings here. We hope you will find the support group meetings interesting as they are a great opportunity to meet other foster carers and share ideas and best practice. We will also be establishing a foster carer forum where foster carers can nominate representatives to meet and discuss issues affecting them as foster carers at Young People at Heart and then meet with Directors and Management to feed back any issues or compliments about the organisation.
As well as this being your area, we’d like your input on our website, guides and general day-to-day operation of YPAH, so if you have any feedback please do let us know via an email, contact form or indeed give us a ring.
