Young People at Heart had a fun-filled afternoon at the Thameside Theatre in Thurrock yesterday at this year’s pantomime, Sleeping Beauty.
A group of 86 people including young people in care, foster carers, staff, panel and family members all enjoyed the fantastic production. Young People’s Participation Officer, Alison Lawes, who organised the outing, said it was fantastic to see so many adults and young people attending this traditional family show.
Fostering Panel Chair, Dr. Andrea Warman, commented how lovely it was to see foster carers outside of the Panel environment, meet their families and young people and see everyone enjoying themselves. She congratulated Young People at Heart on hosting such a child centered event.
