This weekend our Yorkshire office held our first 10th birthday celebrations with a fantastic day out at Kingswood, bringing together our foster families and staff team.
The day was packed with adventure, laughter, and connection. Our young people got stuck into exciting activities including archery, archery tag, laser tag, rock climbing, zip lining, and Jacob’s Ladder. It was wonderful to watch the young people working together, building friendships, and supporting one another as they took on new challenges.
These activities weren’t just about fun – they encouraged teamwork, communication, leadership, and decision-making, while also giving foster carers a chance to catch up, and share experiences with one another.
We ended the day in true birthday style – with everyone singing Happy Birthday and enjoying some well-deserved cake.
